Logic Pro is an affordable digital audio workstation (DAW) perfect for beginner and experienced musicians, while Pro Tools is a high-cost industry-standard music program best suited for recording and editing audio.
Both are extremely capable DAWs and are extensively used by music pros.
My pick would be Logic Pro but then again, I’m a Mac user and I might be a bit biased. This article thankfully goes a little deeper than my bias

A long time in the making, producer T Bone Burnett has developed a new medium for recorded sound: a disc format entitled the “Ionic Originals”.
Formed under Burnett’s newly-launched company, NeoFidelity Inc., the revolutionary medium seeks to provide a sound that vanquishes the limitations seen in vinyl, CDs and digital streaming.
I’d be very interested to see if this new medium can take off or it gets relegated to the “failed audio/video tech” pile. Only time will tell.
